Combined with the spirit of the times has gone back with psychedelic swirls, chiffon shirts and eccentric embroidery on the spring time runways, and sequins and clashing stripes now in stores everywhere.

Miu Miu's resort collection worships another, touting pleated mini-dresses, ruffled border and loud prints, like a lot of our model's pink and orange high-necked dress (HK$42, 900) and shaped knit (HK$12, 750).

US jeans label J Brand, pioneer pertaining to dark-washed skinny jeans, is rocking retro with high-rise flares that a lot of once might have screamed mum class, but are now totally chic. Hold of Holland is offering stonewash short jacket with garish, floral embroidery or striped pullovers in acid yellowing and teal.

At Alice and up. Olivia, slouchy, sequin numbers squeeze the figure and plunge inside the neckline. Baby dolls in material black and berry stripes guarantee celebration domination.

Meanwhile, Chloe has gone back with patchwork suede in its spring-summer 2015 collection, along with billowing chemises and flowing organza gowns. Metropolis Outfitters has embraced leather fringing again, although we can't remember that a time when it hasn't been a feature, protruding off the arms of white artificial leather spencer and hobo bags.
